NATPE EUROPE-RESULT / High Quality Market NATPE Europe Final

Bucharest-Romania, and Prague-Czech Republic (MEDIA EXPRES) / June 27, 2014 / NATPE Europe held between 23 to 26 June, 2014, in Hilton Atrium, Prague, has come to an end with around 330 buyers registered and a high quality of the participants reported both by organizers and the professionals Media Expres was in contact with during the market.

Rod Perth, President and CEO of NATPE said on 26th of June, 2014, for Media Expres: „We are very pleased with the overall response and reaction and Prague is a great city to reset NATPE Europe. We always learning how we can improve, we'll think about those things that we need to think about, and as everybody knows, we are very receptive to suggestions, and we will be better next year. The quality of the participation was extremely high, and quantity was about a thousand attendees, while we had around 350 buyers. The quality of buyers was really high this year. We are still suffering under a poor economy (in East Europe, n. red.), but all the signs are moving in the right direction. We have some things we have to work on, but I won't disclose them right now”.

Rod Perth agreed also on the fact that NATPE is Europe for the first time, and thus the market will try to atract next year more buyers from all the countries, including Western Europe.

The final list of buyers from Romania that attended NATPE Europa in Prague include Ines Turturica - Acquisitions Manager, Act Smart Film Production; Isabella Carmu - Interim Channel Manager Antena 1; Carmen Radoi - Acquisitions Coordinator Antena 1; Bogdan Chirițoiu - Project Manager Media Entertainment Industry and Roxana Chirițoiu - General Director Media Entertainment Industry; Bogdan Strătulă - Partner, Osutaunu SRL; Borș Răzvan Gabriel - Head of Programming, Prima TV (for the first time in this position); Sorina Big - Acquisitions Director Pro TV S.A.; Margareta Iancu - Acquisitions Manager, Transilvania Look SA; and Sorin Alexandrescu - CEO TV, Antena Group.

Alexander Cesnavicius, CEO of Pro TV, was also seen in Hilton in Prague during the week NATPE Europe was held by two different persons who reported the information on Media Expres, but the information was not confirmed officially by the organizers, nor PRO TV, by the time this news was published.
