FOOD NETWORK-UPC ROMANIA-DISTRIBUTION / SCRIPPS NETWORKS UK & EMEA Expand Romanian Footprint
Bucharest (MEDIA EXPRES) / June 23, 2015 / Scripps Networks UK & EMEA announced June 22, 2015, that as part of its recent pan-regional deal with Liberty Global, „Food Network” has launched on UPC Romania, one of Romania's leading TV platforms.

“Food Network”, the global food, entertainment and lifestyle brand, is now available on channel 59 as part of the 'Maxim' package.

The deal follows the recent launch of “Food Network” and “Food Network HD” on Telekom Romania, the leading DTH platform, part of the Deutsche Telekom group. “Food Network” is available on Telekom Romania DTH, alongside “Food Network HD” which is currently on Telekom Romania IPTV and digital cable.

"As Scripps Networks UK & EMEA continues to expand its international reach, we are pleased that UPC Romania now carries our full portfolio, providing viewers the choice of a wide range of world class lifestyle content to choose from. Along with the best in home and travel programming on “Travel Channel” and “Fine Living”, new viewers tuning in to “Food Network” will now be able to enjoy hundreds of hours of exclusive programming, including new series such as “Trisha's Southern Kitchen” and “Australian Food Adventures”.

“Trisha's Southern Kitchen” features country music star and best-selling cookbook author Trisha Yearwood as she shows off her true Southern hospitality and invites viewers into her kitchen to share in some of her favourite family recipes. Additionally, “Australian Food Adventures” follows chef Matt Moran on a road trip to meet the best growers, produces and farmers that the East Coast of Australia has to offer.
